Toronto Taste

I just came back from volunteering for setup for Toronto Taste. This is an annual fundraiser for Second Harvest. For $225 (you get a $125 tax receipt), you get to sample some of the finest food and wine in the city. There's also a beer and a martini bar. My favorite chef (Mark McEwan of North 44) is amongst the 70 chefs that will be there. This year, it is being held inside the Hangar at Downsview Park. The setup is very classy and elegant. It's too bad I'm not helping with setup tomorrow so that I can see the finished product. =( I'm thinking of going as a guest next year (set up was really boring), so let me know if you want to join me.
